Beginning of Pumpkin Day

Posted on April 20, 2011. Filed under: Uncategorized |

To celebrate Environmental Week and promote local agricultural growth, Sensational Elora is going to local schools throughout Centre Wellington County and handing out pumpkin seeds for students to grow in their own backyards. There are many different types of pumpkins distributed so that students can have a wonderful surprise as to what kind of pumpkin theirs will be. Also, to keep parents informed on how to take care of the pumpkins, Sensational Elora will be sending out information in the monthly school newsletters. This is all done to promote Pumpkin Day, a fabulous pumpkin-filled day that’s free for the entire family. If you would like to plant your own pumpkin patch or you know someone who would just give us a call at 519-845-5638 and we will be happy to send some seeds your way.
